MEMBERSHIP
REQUIREMENTS
|
||
- Be a resident of Berkeley County, SC or have substantial business interest in the County | ||
- Be a licensed Amateur Radio operator | ||
- Attend at least one meeting or participate in one ARES® activity per quarter | ||
- Complete required ICS courses (IS100, IS200, IS700 & IS800) | ||
- Pass a criminal background check | ||
- Submit a membership application (see below) with proof of required ICS courses at a meeting | ||
NOTE: Berkeley ARES does not assess dues or other fees from members and does not provide re-imbursement for expenses | ||

- From Points of Distribution which may be established by EPD to EOC | ||
- From Incident Command Post(s) to EOC | ||
- From Staging Area(s) to EOC | ||
- From Local, County and State Agencies to EOC | ||
- From Neighborhoods to EOC | ||
- From CERT Team(s) to EOC | ||
- From Checkpoint(s) to EOC | ||
- From Damage Assessment Team(s) to EOC | ||
